FRIENDLY REMINDER: MSIG Travel Insurance Coverage Regarding the Red Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) issued on South Korea by the Hong Kong Security Bureau

The Hong Kong Security Bureau issued a Red Outbound Travel Alert (OTA) regarding travel to South Korea on 25 February 2020 at 6:00am (“the Incident”), MSIG therefore classifies this Incident as a “KNOWN RISK” from 00:00 am (Hong Kong Time) on 26 February, 2020 (“Cut-Off Time”) onwards with regard to all subsequent purchases of any of our travel insurance plans. 

For any MSIG Single Travel Insurance Policies purchased after the Cut-Off Time; or, for any MSIG Annual Travel Insurance Policies with the trip arranged after the Cut-Off Time, any losses caused by, or arising out of the Incident will NOT be eligible for coverage.
