MSIG Trail Running Series off to a flying start with Braemar Hill race

The first race of the MSIG Trail Running Series – MSIG Trail @ Braemar Hill – was a huge success! All the runners, including MSIG staff and business partners enjoyed traversing the leafy and challenging trails of Hong Kong Island. Click here to watch the video of race highlights!

To align with our brand message of sustainability, the finisher medals and winners’ trophies were crafted from wood. Fulfilling our consume-less philosophy, race participants could opt out of receiving finisher medals and shirts and donate to World Wind Fund (WWF) instead. 30% opted out of finisher medals, while 33.7% opted out of finisher shirts, resulting in a generous donation to WWF.

Overall, runners loved the race a lot! With one commenting, “It was a very well-organised race with so many people involved all doing their bit and showing their support to all running that day – whatever the distance!” Another shared, “It was once my dream to be part of the podium and now I’ve achieved it. I’m amazed by all the great runners.”
